
What is Bygone Times?
Bygone Times is an antiques & collectables centre trading in all things retro, vintage, furniture, gifts & crafts. We have over 500 stalls rented by local traders and small businesses set in Grove Mill, an 17th century cotton mill. We pride ourselves on being one of the UK’s biggest and best vintage emporiums with over 6 floors to shop and explore!

When is Bygone Times open?
Unlike most other shopping centres of our kind, we are open 7 days a week! We open at 9.30am every day, and close at 5pm.
Do I need a membership to visit Bygone Times?
Yes, you need a membership to visit Bygone Times. However, please don’t be put off by this; you can get a membership quickly and easily upon arrival at our admissions desk at the entrance to the building. It is just £2.50 for a lifetime membership card, meaning you pay once and never need to pay again! If you are over 60, a card is just £1.50, and under 18s are free. Should you lose your card, we charge just £1.00 to replace them. View membership details here.
Is parking free at Bygone Times?
Yes, parking is free at Bygone Times during our opening hours to all customers. There are no restrictions or fees, please just park your car in our carpark and start shopping!
Are dogs allowed in Bygone Times?
We do not allow dogs into Bygone Times, only assistance dogs are permitted.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept both cash and card, except for American Express cards.
Is Bygone Times open for trade and public?
Yes, Bygone Times is open to both traders and the general public. This means everyone can access the same great deals and bargains up for grabs!
What is your returns policy?
Bygone Times is an antiques and collectors centre which houses individually managed stalls. All items are “sold as seen”. Customers are responsible for checking items prior to purchase. Refunds will not be given for damage found after purchase. The decision to refund is made solely at the discretion of the individual stallholders. Refunds must be requested within 28 days from the date of purchase and the Customer must provide a valid purchase receipt. Refunds approved by the individual stallholders will be processed by Bygone Times within 14 days of refund approval. How do I become a stallholder at Bygone Times?

Do you value items?
Unfortunately, we do not provide a valuation service, we rent stalls to our stallholder who are the experts!
Do you have somewhere to eat and drink on-site?
Yes, we have our very own café – The Cotton Cafe! We serve hot meals, sandwiches, homemade soups, and more! We also serve delicious cakes and bakes, which we make instore daily in our very own bakery. Not hungry? No problem – we have a range of hot and cold drinks including coffees and milkshakes.
Is Bygone Times open on Bank Holidays?
Yes, Bygone Time is open New Years Day, Good Friday (plus all of Easter weekend), Easter Monday, Early May Bank holiday, Spring Bank holiday & Summer bank holiday. The only days we close are Christmas Day 25th December and Boxing Day 26th December.
