We’re delighted to announce that we have expanded the floor area of Bygone 6 to double its size and make Bygone Times bigger than ever!
A visionary project of the Bygone Times workforce, we have removed an existing wall to vastly expand the Bygone 6 floor and constructed new exciting stalls. To make the Bygone Times antiques shopping experience more accessible and enjoyable, we have also installed a new staircase.
Conveniently positioned by the ladies toilets at the start of Bygone 5, the staircase connects to Bygone 6, eliminating the need to trek through Bygone 5, offering a nifty shortcut to discover the antique furniture and treasures of the expanded Bygone 6.
For those with accessibility needs, don’t worry, our lift is still available.
Why have we expanded Bygone 6?
Bygone Times are driven to deliver an unbeatable antique and collectables shopping experience in the heart of Lancashire, exhibiting to locals and tourists alike some of the leading independent stallholders and local businesses of our thriving county and wider areas.
Increasing The Range of Bygone Times’ Offering
Though our leading UK antiques centre may be a magnet for vintage enthusiasts, Bygone Times want to offer something for everyone, and we’re highly motivated to continually improve our offering. Our experienced rents team carefully select its stallholder range, offering visitors the best antiques, vintage, retro and furniture available.
Reducing Our Stallholder Waiting List
One of the biggest challenges we face at Bygone Times is space and our vast waiting list. Whilst our charming 17th century cotton mill is a huge, spacious building and the home to over 500 independent stallholders, our stalls are ALWAYS fully occupied.
With a bulging waiting list to manage, we’re delighted to offer some fresh and exciting local traders the opportunity to rent a stall at Bygone Times!
Supporting Lancashire’s Local Economy
Bygone Times are immensely proud to be Lancashire’s leading antiques and collectables centre – but we’re more than that, we’re a vibrant, thriving communal hub in the Chorley area, supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs.
We’re delighted to invite new businesses to show and sell their goods and build brand recognition in the new and improved Bygone 6.
What Visitors can expect from Bygone 6
Opened from the 1st December 2025, the expanded Bygone 6 is fully rented out and ready to shop!
Our assistant general manager commented that she expects the expanded change to “bring in more custom than ever”, and that the team are delighted to say the UK’s leading and largest antiques and collectables centres “just got even bigger.”
“We’re thrilled that all of our hard work has paid off and we’re able to open this fresh and exciting space.”
In recent years, Bygone 6 has primarily exhibited a spectacular range of antique furniture, from vintage wardrobes and desks to chairs and sofas. Already a popular destination for collectors of antique and vintage, Bygone 6 continues to offer an unrivalled selection of rare furniture items, including brands such as Ercol, Nathan & so many more.
Bygone 6 now contains exciting new stalls from businesses that have never traded at Bygone Times before, in addition to expanded locations for some of our most popular traders. Expect to find more homewares, crafts and vintage clothes: There’s Something for Everyone!
